Robert Kenneth Ervin, 20-year-old suspected slayer of little Dolores Stafford, 6, is seen being taken by police here today when he debarked from the train at the depot. Chief of Police R.K. Sheffer, left, and Det. Lt. B.J. Handlon made the arrest following a tip from Los Angeles that Ervin was on the train. During his ride to police station the officers said that when questioned Ervin said "Yes, I killed her," he thought she "was my wife -- I loved her -- I didn't want her to leave me."
