Lt. Col. Inez Haynes, above, 46, of Muleshoe, Tex., has been named Chief of the Army Nurse Corps to succeed Col. Ruby F. Bryant. A native of Paint Rock, Tex., Col. Haynes joined the Nurse Corps in 1933 at Fort Sam Houston, Tex.
