Mrs. Katharine Dixon Agar (shown) homemaker, mother and lawyer, was named Chicago's "Woman of Distinction" for 1951 at a dinner of the Women's Advertising Club. Mrs. Agar was chosen for her qualities of citizenship, character, poise and understanding. She gained her legal education after she was married and the mother of a son.
