Chicago – Striking Pilots Picket Airline – Pilots of the United Air Lines form a picket line as they march past the airline’s entrance at Chicago Midway airport today after a nation-wide strike was called by the 900 A.F. of L. pilots employed by the line. The union and company have been in a dispute over pay rates and working conditions for nearly two years.
