William Henry Hayden, 21, a self-styled boxer, is shown carrying his 70-year-old father, Ernest, into Brockton District Court. Hayden's father appeared as a witness for him in court where Hayden had to answer non-support charges filed by his wife, Phyllis, 18, and their four-month-old daughter. Hayden's father lost both legs during World War I. The elder Hayden weighs 200 pounds and the younger 160.
