Check Point Cambridge -- National Guardsmen stand at a checkpoint in this racially tense Eastern Shore community late this afternoon. The guard was ordered in following a race riot last night, and militia law was imposed. Restrictions included the closing of all establishments selling liquor or beer, a 7 p.m. curfew on store and a 9 p.m. curfew on civilians. A ban against all demonstrations also was imposed.
