Cardinals' All Around Man- Mike Shannon played right field for the St. Louis Cardinals; was a catcher for a few games and now is working out at third base as a possible replacement for Charley Smith traded to the New York Yankees for Roger Maris. Cardinals invited infield candidates down to camp prior scheduled spring training opening Feb. 24.
