Sewickley, PA. The three-year old hatchet slaying of Mrs. Helen Zubryd, a Sewickley Township widow, was solved 3/14 with the confession of her 11-year old son Charles. Charles said 3/14 that he killed his mother "because she was going to whip me with an Army belt". He was only eight years old at the time of the slaying.
