Cannon Hospital Wounded war tools come to this corner of the Watervliet arsenal, near Albany, N.Y., for repairs. Here major caliber guns are rebuilt to return to service. The big gun at top is the projectile tube for a 12-inch coast defense gun being reamed to measure. When repaired, it will be as accurate and as serviceable as a new weapon, and represents a saving of about $30,000. The cannon in the foreground awaits remodeling.
