Charged with gun smuggling

Atlanta, June 12-- Arlene Granito, 25, a native of Newark, N.J., has been arrested on a charge of smuggling two revolvers, four hacksaw blades and 100 rounds of ammunition into the U.S. Penitentiary in Atlanta. Miss Granito is shown being interviewed in front of the prison yesterday shortly after four inmates, one of whom she identifies as her boy friend, took several hostages and defied prison authorities for more than 24 hours.
