Susan Schoeman, 20, holds her 2-year-old daughter in her home in Johannesburg, South Africa. Miss Schoeman has been officially reclassified Chinese instead of white to enable her to marry Henry May, 33, the Chinese father of her three children. They have been living together since May took her into his home as a destitute girl of 16.
