Icon, Şurdești house, (Făurești), Village Museum. In 1936 on May 17, in Bucharest - the Romanian capital - a village was born. A village - museum, which was received with interest by the personalities of the time, but also by King Charles II. It is located in the north of the capital, on the shore of Lake HerăEste u being the result of over 10 years of complex researches conducted by the Sociological School from Bucharest, led by Professor and Sociologist Dimitrie Gusti. The monuments are located according to geographical and historical criteria. The camera lens brings in front of the viewer a picture from the Village Museum - icon, house Şurdești. The icon about “The complaint of IS XS” was worked by folk craftsmen from the center of Nicula, jud. Cluj, at the end of the nineteenth century. The icons from Nicula do not respect the hermines due to the size of the bottle. Thus, the naive Niculeni painters simplified the iconographic theme. The icon is made of: glass (hand-drawn glass), tempera colors, binders (linseed oil, bone glues), fixation solutions (vinegar, egg white, ox irons), gold and wood for the frame. Painting on the back of the bottle, in the “mirror” technique: drawn contours with the brush after the spring, painted with the brush, applied, cut, carved, carved, joined with feathers and wooden nails. In the Niculean version, this scene is bordered only to two women who witness the mourning of Mary who opens her hands in flats, in gesture of helplessness. Jesus is lying on the catafalk, his eyes closed and his hands crossed on his chest. The scene is guarded by the Crucifixion Cross. Missing spear and sponge. The stage is framed by a border on three sides, with branches with oversized leaves and flowers that have white contours- a reason specific to the center of Nicula. The fund is bicolor.
