Author of the drawing: Živilė Žėkaitė, 7th grade pupil of Parėčėnai Ninth Year School, Alytus district. The drawing was created during competitions and educational classes held in 1991. Children from all over the country responded to the invitation to depict peace and Lithuania's quest for freedom in their drawings dedicated to January 13th. The authors of the drawings were kindergarten and nursery school children, primary school children and graduates.
