Drawing by Rasa P., student of Alytus 2nd Secondary School. The drawing depicts the historic night of 13 January 1991 at the Vilnius Television Tower: peaceful Lithuanian defenders gathered at the tower and a Soviet Union tank approaching them. The drawing was created during competitions and educational activities in 1991. Children from all over the country responded to the call to depict peace and Lithuania's quest for freedom in drawings dedicated to January 13. The authors of the drawings were kindergarten and nursery school children, primary school children and graduates.
