V High School at 1 Sikorskiego Square in Bytom. The building, which served as a secondary school from the beginning, was built in the Art Nouveau style in 1901-1902 by the city architect Carl Brugger. From the side of the school playground under the dome, you can see the slogan: "This is where young people strive for diligence and virtue." The architecture of the building is modeled on the solutions of the Viennese Secession. The façade is faced with white and cobalt glaze, with rich geometric, zoomorphic and anthropomorphic detail. A characteristic feature of the building is the large coat of arms of Bytom located in the central part of the facade facing the square.
