These cloths are used by men and boys for protection against the cold, rain and sunshine; as a blanket; to display market goods etc. When not in use, they are carried folded over the shoulder. When not in use, they are carried folded over the shoulder. Beautiful specimens are shown at weddings etc. Finally, the sarape is also used as a shroud. \This one is much smaller than average, so it was probably made for the tourist market.\Nowhere is the fabrication? Probably made for the tourist market.
