Burns Husband's Draft Card--Nine women set fire to what they said were draft cards of nine men Wednesday on the steps of San Francisco's federal building. Here Carole Van Aelstyn, 28, mother of four children, burns what she said was draft card of her husband, Edward A. Van Aelstyn, 32, an English professor at San Francisco State. A group calling itself The Resistance staged the card burning rally in support of Dr. Benjamin Spock and three co-defendants who were sentenced in Boston for aiding young men to avoid the draft.
