Brunswick star in air race

Brunswick star bowler lucille quamby, left, of detroit and flying partner bernice steadman will be carrying the brunswick banner into the clouds as entrants in this powder puff derby, the all-woman transcontinental air race. This will be the third derby attempt for lucille, who combines bowling and flying with a career as a detroit high school counselor. The gals will fly from torrance, california to wilmington, delaware with a july 13 finish deadline.
