Bridge Threatened by Ice Jam-- An ice jam, four miles long, threatens the 350-foot bridge over the Fox River at nearby Dayton today. The bridge, which is normally 20 feet above the water, showed slight cracking but remained intact. Plans to dynamite the jam were abandoned when the mercury rose to 50 degrees and dropped the river 12 feet.
