Bremerton Navy Yard Workers Get Gas Mask Practice. Some 13,500 civilian workers at the huge Navy Yard here on Puget Sound, this week started detailed instructions on the use of gas masks in preparation for possible gas attacks. This young woman is shown getting used to her mask at the yard during a recent drill. The workers walk through a small chamber filled with tear gas which shows them quickly if the mask is being worn correctly.
