Braving the Cold-It was pretty chilly here early this morning, with temperatures in the 50's, as batterymen of the Milwaukee Braves reported for first official drill and southpaw pitchers Warren Spahn, left, and Chet Nichols bundled under a blanket to cope with the weather outside clubhouse. Spahn, of Hartshorne, Okla., had another good season in 1956, winning 20 against 11 losses. He had a 2.79 earned run average. Nichols, of Pawtucket, R.I., is up for another trial with club. He had combined 2-5 record at Milwaukee, Wichita and Atlanta last season.
