Braves Field -- Home of the Boston Braves Baseball Team of the National League. Braves Field is located just off Commonwealth Ave. (Allston) Boston at Gaffney and Babcock Streets. It has a seating capacity of 40,000. The park was built in 1915 and lighting equipment for night baseball was installed in 1946. The filed is also the home gridiron of the Boston College Football Team.
