Bradenton, Fla. – Braves Second Base Problem – Milwaukee Braves infielder Mel Roach uses this weighted device for knee strengthening exercises at Braves camp here. Roach was injured in a second base collision with Giants Daryl Spencer last August. Roach is a possibility for the Red Schoendienst position while Red recuperates from a tubercular operation.
