Wheaton, Ill. -- Freckle-faced, curly-haired, Steven Schloneger, thirteen-years-old, above, is being held in connection with the rape slaying of Yvonne Elliott, 7, on Oct. 4. Du Page county chief deputy sheriff, Herbert Mertes, said that Schloneger agreed to sign a statement admitting the rape slaying after several hours of questioning last. The murder occurred near the home of both the boy and girl, near Elmhurst, Ill., a suburb 15 miles west of Chicago.
