Bouton Blasted -- New York Yankee pitcher Jim Bouton, holding towel to face, leaves the field after he was hit in the face by a vicious line drive hit by Baltimore Oriole center fielder Jackie Brandt in the 4th inning of a game between the two American League clubs last night. Bouton required 12 stitches to close the wound. Brandt, (25), offers condolences as Bouton, and Yankee first baseman Dale Long, Yankee catcher Elston Howard (32) and pitcher Bill Stafford (22) look on.
