Bottles Seized After Alcohol Deaths. Two of the bottles seized by Gloversville, N.Y., police after eight deaths from poisoned alcohol on Jan 20 are shown above. The strips of paper pasted across the front of each is the police notation as to where, when and by whom each bottle was purchased. In addition to the deaths on Jan 28, seven more died at Gloversville on Jan 29. in all, 32 had died of poison alcohol in up-state New York on Jan 30.
