Ice Wrecks Orchard--The recent ice storm took a heavy toll of fruit trees in eastern Ohio as can be seen here as Sam Kerns surveys broken trees in his Belmont county peach orchard. Kerns lost 250 of his 1300 trees, all at their peak production age. He estimated the loss at $5,000.
