Edward (Bennie) Bedwell, left, 21-year-old illiterate skid row inhabitant, appears with Sheriff Joseph Lohman early today at Coounty Sheriff's office where Bedwell was questioned by newsmen after Lohman said Bedwell signed a statement relating he and a friend beat and dumped Grimes sisters from a car after a week of drinking and sex orgies. Bodies of Grimes sisters, Barbara, 15, and Patricia, 13, were found Jan. 22, along a lonely road in suburban Willow Springs.
