Sigmund Engel, the 76-year-old lothario who is serving a two-to-ten year prison sentence for a confidence game in which he used his charm to separate trusting ladies from their worldly good, is shown in Chicago court as he faced still another charge and an irate lady. He is accused by Mrs. Irene Grimes (right), wife of a San Francisco businessman, who says she gave Engel $16,000 in stocks and bonds which he converted for his own used in 1949. Engel was brought from Joliet Prison for the trial.
