Announces Labor Backing for Humphrey-- I.W. Abel, president of the AFL-CIO United Steelworkers Union, today announced a new political organization backing the presidential campaign of Vice President Hubert Humphrey. Abel said "we urge all working men and women and their families to give their unstinting support to the nomination and election of Humphrey. Seated is Joseph D. Keenan, of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers.
