Announce Joint Proposal--Howard W. Johnson, president Massachusetts Institute of Technology confers with Ruth M. Adams, president of Wellesley College during a press conference in Boston today. They announced a joint proposal to explore a five-year experimental program, in which students of Wellesley College and MIT may be permitted to enroll in courses at either institution. The purpose of the experiment is to extend the diversity of educational experiences now available to students in the curricula and the environments of both institutions.
