Big Switch for Engineer- Walter Liessner, one of thousands of highly skilled engineers fired in Boston area, in front of the century-old country store he bought in Acton, Mass. Liessner, earning $17,500 a year when "surplussed" last February, lives in nearby Carlisle with wife and sic children. He sells his wife's home bakery products in store to aid family finances.
