Atty. Herbert Abrams, 114 Sewall Ave., is a candidate for the nomination for representative from the 10th Norfolk District. A World War II Coast Guard veteran, he is an alumnus of the University of Virginia and Rutgers University School of Law. Abrams was an intercollegiate swimming champion and active in the Phi Alpha Fraternity, P. K. Society, and Inter-Fraternity Council. He also was president of the Hillel Foundation at the University of Virginia. The candidate is a member of the Boston, state, Norfolk County, and American bar associations, the Combined Jewish Appeal and the Business Men’s Council. Mrs. Abrams is the former Joan Miller of Brookline. The couple have one son, Richard.
