Attempts airplane suicide, police report

Red-haired Mitzi Dore (above), burlesque's "I Don't Care Girl," tried to kill herself aboard an airliner just before it landed here yesterday, police report. She was found unconscious in a plane restroom from an overdose of tranquilizer pills. Police said the 32-year-old stripteaser from Alexandria, Va., left a note about a broken love affair. She is in serious condition.
