Attacked by youths

New York -- Frank Siracusa, 30, a science teacher at Brooklyn's Franklin K. Lane high school, rests in LaGuardia Hospital after three youths beat him and attempted to set him afire. The youths squirted lighter fluid on the teacher's clothes and lit it, but Siracusa managed to smother the flames before he was burned. It was not immediately known if the attackers were in pupils in the school. Siracusa was reported in good condition.
