Ancient Tribal Ceremony Unites Indians. In a ceremony as old as the tribe itself, Vivian Rickard, 18, and Clifford Printup, 20, two young Tuscarora Indians, were married September 2 on a jutting ledge which overhangs the whirlpool at Niagara Falls, N.Y. The bride's father, Sachem Chief Rickard, chanted the ancient ceremonial rites with the throaty roar of the river furnishing the only music. The newlyweds are shown seated at right at the wedding feast which concluded the ceremony.
