The crazed gunman who shot and killed Patricia Kahler, 19, in Chicago's downtown Grant Park and then took his own life yesterday, was identified by the FBI today as Bernard August Richardson, Jr., shown above. Richardson had a police record of 6 arrests dating back to 1944. The gunman also wounded Herbert A. Hoffman, 17, of Steger, Ill., before taking his own life.
