Berkeley, Calif: Teargas cannister leaves a trail of gas as it arches towards police at Right. Police had just laid down a massive teargas barrage 2/20, along Bancroft Ave., in one of many efforts to quell the worst outbreak of violence in a month at this embattled University of California. At least a dozen persons were arrested, 2 police vans turned over & hundreds of demonstrators and newsmen had their eyes irritated by the repeated barrages of gas.
