Amtrak adds beauty to railroads

Phyllisa Farnor, Manassas, Va., an Amtrak passenger representative, boards Penn Central train in Boston bound for New York. She is one of twenty-three girls who will be riding trains across the nation in effort to keep passengers comfortable. The National Railroad Passenger Corporation, under the name "Amtrak," today took over operation of virtually all inter-city passengers trains in the nation.
