Bennie Bedwell, 21, is shown with his mother, Mrs. Ethel Bradbury, who visited him today shortly before he departed for Florida. He is under indictment in De Land, Fla., for the rape of a 13-year-old girl. Bedwell figured prominently in the Grimes case, once confessing and then denying slaying the girls. He was taken to Florida by a Volusia County (Fla.) sheriff and deputy.
