Thomas Lee Bean, 18, of Reno was convicted by a district court jury today of first degree murder in the April 5 slaying of former Olympic skier Sonja McCaskie. The jury recommended the death penalty. Bean is shown here as he is taken out for lunch during today's noon break in the trial, which opened June 24. Bean showed no emotion as the verdict was read.
