This photo shows Miss Amelia Earhart, transatlantic flier, standing beside her new Lockheed-Vega plane which she may use in attempt to set new transcontinental nonstop record. Plane has speed of 194 miles an hour, where as the plane used by Frank Hawks in record flight had a speed of 187 m.p.h.
