The Bedford Militiamen Drum and Bugle Corps was organized in October of 1961 by the Anthony-Hunt-Hamilton Post No. 221, of the American Legion. The corps now consists of 21 buglers of which 18 compete in all contests. The three spares are used interchangeably when the need arises to fill empty spots.
