As nurses and doctors help whell patients out of smashed buildings, rescue workers began the gisly search for other patients and hospital workers who are trapped in the collapsed buildings at the Veterans Administration hospital. Seven patients were reported killed when the building collapsed during a devastating earthquake that struck the Southern California area early 2/9.
