Sigmund Engel finds things a trifle warm in Chicago, where he was picked up as the aged lothario who allegedly bilked widow Reseda Corrigan of $8,700 with promises of matrimony. Engel was seized as he was buying luggage for a "honeymoon" with a second Chicago widow. He denied that he was the international love pirate of "matrimonial swindler deluxe," whose trail of broken hearts, busted bank accounts, and worn out aliases span the globe.
