All Alone - Harris Innis, superintendent of the Clairton rolling mill of the company, stands alone today on the run-out table of the mill's 18-inch mill as the scheduled steel strike curtailed more and more steel production throughout the nation. Narrow plates, shown cooling here on the mill's hot beds, will remain there for the duration of the strike, set for midnight tonight.
