A Space Age hermit now 96 years old, he has lived alone since 1945 on Posseum Key, an island in Everglades National Park, Fla. He rarely has visitors and only goes to everglades City once a month to pick up his Social Security check and supplies. When asked if he gets lonely he says "It's not in my nature."
