Alice faces divorce suit

Alice Jones Rhinelander, estranged wife of Leonard Kip Rhinelander, member of one of New York's oldest and wealthiest families, will be sued for divorce in Las Vegas, Nevada, where young Rhinelander is now living, according to an announcement by his attorney, Harley Harmon. The couple separated soon after their wedding when Kip's family attempted to annul the marriage and caused a sensational court battle, during which is was disclosed that the bride was a daughter of a New Rochelle, N.Y., negro.
