Arrive With Valuable Press Collection. Dean Carl W. Ackerman of the Columbia University School of Journalism showing Capt. Robert B. Irving of the Liner Aquitania a specimen of English pamphlet printing of 1648. The dean arrived in New York April 5 with the collection of the London Press Club depicting the rise of the English newspaper over a period of several hundred years. It is the first time the collection, deemed one of the most valuable and complete of its kind, has been taken out of London for exhibition purposes, it is to be displayed at the annual meeting of the Associated Press in New York, April 24.
