Bangor, Maine. "Exhausted Motorists Take Refuge In Restaurant". These are four of about 200 motorists who abandoned their cars on route 2 after being caught in a surprise 35 inch snowstorm. This is about 2 miles west of the city of Bangor. Sgt. John McDuffe of Richmond, Va., with his two daughters, Barbara Ann age 7 and Patsy age 10. He was enroute to Caribou Maine for the military.
